The king of all Leslie connector kits!
This is a connector kit for vintage Hammond console organ models B3, B2, C3, C2, RT3, RT2, A100 series, and D100 series. It will also work for older console models, if a B+ power supply is installed in the organ.
This kit provides outputs for 122 (6pin), 147 (6pin), and 11pin Leslie speakers. All three Leslie speaker outputs may be used simultaneously.
Speed for all three Leslie's is controlled simultaneously by a switch which plugs into the kit via a 1/4" cable. A halfmoon switch and TRS 1/4" cable are included. This halfmoon switch allows slow/stop/fast operation for the 11pin output, and slow/fast operation for the 122 and 147 outputs (the stop position on the halfmoon will render slow speed for 122/147).
Alternatively a single button footswitch (momentary or latching) can be used instead of the halfmoon - if using a footswitch then use a TS cable instead of TRS (stop feature for the 11pin output will be disabled, it will work slow/fast only if using a footswitch).
Also included in the kit are 1/4" unbalanced line output and low pass output, volume for these outputs is controlled by the knob on the kit. Use these outputs to connect the organ to a PA system, guitar/bass/keyboard amp, Neo Ventilator, etc. These 1/4" outputs can be used simultaneously with the Leslie outputs.
The kit can be ordered setup two ways:
1) "Plug and Play", which means it has a 5pin male pigtail which plugs into the organ's stock tone cabinet output. Plug it in and go! If the organ already has a 428/8000 kit installed (which makes the 5pin output on the organ a 122 output instead of tone cabinet output), then this kit will still work but you must leave the chorale/tremelo switch which is mounted on the organ in the "Tremelo" position.
2) "Hardwired", for installation by qualified technician. This means it will have wires coming out (6 ft. length) instead of the 5pin pigtail. Blue/gray twisted pair go to switched AC power, Red/Black/Brown twisted trio go to G, G, and Ground (respectively).
This kit will work for any power grid (120v or 220/240v), however the voltage of the power grid, organ, and leslie speakers must all match!
